U.S. News & World Report Recognizes The Oaks at Denville as a Best Nursing Home for Short-Term Rehabilitation for 2023-2024
November 21, 2023The Oaks at Denville has been recognized as a Best Nursing Home for short-term rehabilitation for 2023-2024 by U.S. News & World Report. This Springpoint Life Plan Community offers a continuum of care that includes independent living, skilled nursing, assisted living, and rehabilitation.
U.S. News evaluated more than 15,000 nursing homes on resident care and safety, infection rates, staffing, health inspection results, and other indicators of quality for this updated report. Only 19% of skilled nursing facilities nationwide earned the “Best Nursing Home” designation.
There are currently 348 nursing homes throughout the state of New Jersey, and The Oaks at Denville is among a distinguished group to receive such a high overall rating. The Oaks’ High-Performance rating in short-term rehabilitation is based on U.S. News’ assessment of ten quality measures focused on staffing, medical outcomes, resident complaints, and processes of care. U.S. News used scientific literature review, discussions with industry experts, and statistical modeling to select these measures.
This independent survey of The Oaks’ healthcare program reaffirms the work excellence of the community’s clinical staff and rehabilitation team. Four other Springpoint communities – The Atrium at Navesink Harbor, The Moorings at Lewes, Village Point Rehabilitation and Healthcare, and Winchester Gardens – were also recognized as high performing short-term rehabilitation.
