The Oaks at Denville has been recognized as a 2026 “Best Nursing Home” for long-term care by U.S. News & World Report. This year’s evaluation reviewed nearly 15,000 nursing homes nationwide, with fewer than 19% earning a “Best Nursing Home” designation in Short-Term Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, or both.
There are currently 348 nursing homes and skilled nursing/long-term care facilities throughout the state of New Jersey. The Oaks is among a distinguished group to receive such a high overall performance rating.
Who Made The List
U.S. News & World Report determined these ratings by analyzing a wide range of quality measures, including post-acute care quality, nurse staffing consistency, and patient-centered outcomes. Compared to the national average, the 2026 ranked communities:
- Provide 20% more total staffing per resident per day
- Offer 80% more physical therapy per resident per day
- Have a 15% lower rate of hospitalizations for long-term residents
This independent survey of The Oaks’ healthcare program highlights the exceptional performance of the community’s clinical and rehabilitation team. Seven other Springpoint communities – The Atrium at Navesink Harbor, Crestwood Manor, Meadow Lakes, The Moorings at Lewes, Stonebridge at Montgomery, Village Point Rehabilitation & Healthcare, and Winchester Gardens – were also recognized in this year’s evaluation.
