The Oaks at Denville is excited to announce the opening of our all-new modern bistro, part of a $3 million project to upgrade and renovate our Clubhouse. Offering an inviting blend of comfort, style, and more seating for casual meals and light fare, the bistro has quickly become a favorite gathering spot for residents to share a drink with friends or have an informal meal together.
The Bistro is open seven days a week, and residents can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner plus daily specials, take-out meals and light snacks. New menu selections offer tasty dishes bursting with seasonal flavors like homemade personal pizzas cooked in a stone-hearth oven, made-to-order smoked chicken quesadillas and freshly grilled Caprese paninis.
“Eating is of one life’s greatest pleasures,” said Chef Joseph Pane, Director of Dining Services at The Oaks. “We want our residents and guests to experience the relaxed modern atmosphere and enjoy the plentiful menu choices now offered including freshly prepared culinary creations and traditional homemade favorites. All of our dishes are beautifully crafted and accented with the finest ingredients.”
With the opening of The Bistro, our continuing care retirement community now offers four distinct new dining venues: casual dining/lounge, formal dining, chef’s table and private dining. These new dining venues are part of the larger Clubhouse renovation project that includes a remodeled main lounge, an expanded fitness room, massage room, enlarged locker rooms and new beauty salon. Soon, we’ll be adding an exercise studio for a variety of LivWell health and wellness programs. Renovations should be completed by the end of 2018.
“The Bistro is a place where residents can celebrate every day, make new friends and get involved in the community. It embodies the fun-loving spirit of The Oaks,” said Chef Pane.
